Oscar the Grouch is a forever curmudgeon. While he officially endorsed recycling efforts in 2016, I like to believe he’s not convinced. My daughter attends a public charter school whose mission statement includes promoting sustainability. I envision using Oscar as an eventual storytelling device to help describe to her the complexities of consumerism, waste disposal, and industry deception.
