The spark for my Party Pooper series occurred in 2015 at a Hooks & Hangers thrift store. I found this Bugs Bunny cake pan and immediately LOL’d. Instead of “Happy Birthday,” what if Bugs endorsed impulsivity, or was critically rude?” “You Only Live Once” is contemporized Carpe Diem but can also mean “You Obviously Lack Originality.” I love the ambiguity while acknowledging both can be true at the same time.
