Kurt Vonnegut is my favorite satirist, but George Orwell is a close second. Sometimes, too close. Developmentally, my daughter is beginning to lie. She and I have limited discussions about truth and perspective. I am in both awe of her comprehension and concerned for her future understanding about authoritative fabrication.
